About Chris Lawson
New Orleans artist, writer and filmmaker Chris Lawson has recently shown work at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art's "Louisiana Contemporary" (2015 and 2016), at Contemporary Art Center New Orleans (2017), and at recent New Orleans Jazz Fests as part of Contemporary Crafts. Collections include LSU, Tulane University, Energen, Alabama Power, and the University of Alabama in Birmingham, and the private collections of Patti Smith, Michael Stipe, Wyclef Jean, Alexander Payne, and Julianne Moore, among others.
